A Good Thing -- for the Hungry

Greetings to my sisters, friends and foes, how blessed we are to be in health and strength.  It is the twenty-sixth day of the eighth month in the year R&R(ReCover&ReStore).  A Good Thing, is still ringing in my spirit.  I continue to appreciate the goodness of God towards me.  While reading in the Gospel of Luke, Mary reminds us of the mercy and grace of God.  She confirms his goodness as she declares that He filled the hungry with Good Things...(Luke 1:53).  The Beatitudes remind us that if we hunger and thirst after righteousness, we shall be filled.  It is A Good Thing to be filled, to be satisfied, content, not wanting.  I was hungry, blind, and lost, it is A Good Thing to be filled, seeing and found.  Sometimes in the midst of adversity, we can forget about the Good Things in our lives.  We can get distracted and spend so much time and attention on  those few difficulties we are faced with.  But, today I admonish you my sister, continue to expect A Good Thing, be A Good Thing, share A Good Thing and recognize that you are promised that no Good Thing will be held from you if you walk up rightly before your father.

Be blessed my sister-friend and enjoy your Good Things.

Looking back over Turned pages....

As I turn to page 25, chapter 2012, I have taken a moment, just a moment to turn back and review some of the previous chapters.  I look back and am reminded of the miracles I have experienced.  I am reminded of the miracle that I am.  As I look back, just a few chapters, I see an amazing story of a woman kept, a soul saved, a heart committed to the lover there of.  As I look back, I see that on several occasions, I did not understand what was going on at the time of the actual writing, but now, I can see that everything is working together for good.  I read over places where the challenges seemed overwhelming and changes did not make sense, but as I read further, I saw the benefit of each and every trial.  I look back and review the pages of this book, the author is brilliant, the pieces did not seem to fit, but He brought them all together.  Just like a puzzle, I can now see every piece fitly joined together.  I did not notice then...

Mark on you...

My friends, this is the day...the Lord's day,the fourth day in the twelfth month in the year 2010. You are on your mark? I hope so, did you know that there is a mark on you? The Bible tells us to mark the perfect man for the end of that man is peace, Proverbs 37:37. Just as children are born with marks, certain characteristics that sets them apart, so are we, both naturally and spiritually. Mark on you, God has placed that special imrint on you that sets you apart. Just has he has numbered the hairs on your head, he has a mark on you so that he can identify you from anyone else. You are so important to God that He marked you with his own blood, formed you in His image and likeness. When He looks at you, He wants to see His reflection. What Mark is on you? If you have not accepted the free gift of life through repentance, then the mark on you is not of God. But He is waiting to claim you as His own. Cain had a mark to keep him from being killed, though he deserved to die...

Take a Seat...

Part 3, Page 18, Chapter 2017 it's time to take a seat and see the world with brand new eyes!  Get rid of the lies you heard, replace the word that would negatively impact your thoughts.  Stop running, keep still, trust your heart and commit if you will to the will of the author, He knows the story. You deserve to take a seat and enjoy the moment, live in it, embrace it, cherish it and allow it to become a sweet memory forever in your mind.  Stop running, stop talking, stop and just take a seat.  Clear your mind and breathe in deep, deep until you feel the wind lifting you from that low place and then blow it out, hard and loud so that you hear it escaping from your lungs like a bird freed from a snare!  Turn the page and continue to journey W ithout R egret G uilt or S hame #WRGS .    Remember every now and then to just TAKE A SEAT!
