Turning the Page -- using the bookmark

Still turning, on page 27, chapter 2012 in this life-story.  I am reminded today that sometimes, we need to pause and praise.  While turning the page, I had to place my bookmark so that I could pause and praise.  A bookmark is a thin marker, commonly made of paper or card, used to keep the reader's place in a book and to enable the reader to return to it with ease.  The bookmark was also used to avoid damage to the pages since the material used to make books was so delicate.  I pause and praise for the things that are to come in this amazing story.  I pause and praise for the manifestation of every promise and fulfillment of each dream.  I pause and praise for the path that led me here.  I pause and praise for every life that has touched my own and the lives that my own life has touched.  I pause and praise for every experience, trial and challenge.  I pause and praise for health, wealth and prosperity.  I pause and praise as I prepare for the next page, the next phase the next opportunity to pause and praise.   When the page does not look like you expected, when doubt tries to take control, when you are at your wits end and do not know what to do, put a bookmark there my sister, my friend, and pause and praise.  While turning the page, sometimes you may experience fatigue and begin to loose interest, but put a bookmark there and pause and praise.  It's ok, the story will continue, the beat goes on, purpose will still be fulfilled.  Get your bookmark and put it right there and pause and praise, then come back to your place and enjoy the REST of the story.

Yes, it is a great day. Today is the 28th day in the twelfth month in the year 2010. Three days remaining in this year. Today, I have found myself thankful as I recognize that I have a Watermark on my life. Water, it is powerful and life giving. In a dry and thirsty land...we need the living water. I have experienced drought during this year, low times and high tides... I remain grateful for the Watermark that is on my life. If you think about it in the physical, water is so powerful, it leaves traces where ever it has been. A Watermark is a line marking the level reached by a body of water.
