My friends and well wishers, Yes, one more day that the Lord has blessed us to be here. He continues to reveal the importance of seed time and harvest. It is the twelfth day of the eleventh month in year 2010. We have planted seeds, here and there and everywhere. We have nurtured those seeds, watered them, ensured they're safety as best we could. We have also received seed for the harvest of our life and spirit. We have nurtured that seed, watered it and determined that it would bear righteous seed. But, somehow, one way or the other...thorns were found growing among our seeds. What are we going to do with the thorns? At least Be AWARE of the Thorns and Thistles They can be painful...in Pauls case, (I Cor. 12:7-10)he tried to get rid of his thorns, but the master had "Allowed the thorns" to keep Paul humble and relying on God. His Grace is sufficient. So, in my spirit, I can understand and appreciate the fact that at times, God allows the thorns in our lives and gives us grace to sustain us. And like Paul, when we are in relationship with God, we will know wheather or not those thorns are for our good or for our demise.
In general, we must Be AWARE of the thorns and thistles...they can, as indicated in Hebrews 6:7-8, cause you to be rejected and even destroyed. Thorns may come, but just stay close to God so that He can reveal to you the purpose of the Thorns. Some may stay and some may be destroyed. No matter what, as you plant, seed and harvest...Be AWARE of the Thorns and Thistles.
