Great Memories--Words of a CERTAIN Woman

Today,  four years ago today, we bid my Mom's physical body farewell.  Surrounded by friends, family and loved ones, we gave our final salute to our legend.  Today, on this seventh day of the ninth month in the year R&;R(ReCover&ReStore), I celebrate her life.  I salute her one more time, I arise and call her blessed.  The life of a CERTAIN woman who impacted the lives of so many.  A woman who loved the sound of music, who loved people, who loved to love.  One of her favorite songs was Since I met Jesus, a favorite scripture, Psalms 121- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills...  Today, as a memorial to Mom, I would love to hear some of your memories of Mom, Mother Stanley, A Certain Woman.  Post them on facebook or send an email....Thanks Mom for the Memories...and all the lessons!!!!

I TOO AM IN REMEMBRANCE OF MARY MARTHA, MY FRIEND, WE SHARED MANY THOUGHTS AND FOUND OUT ON MANY WE THOUGHT ALIKE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CAME TO OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR FUTURE. ANYWAY I THINK OF HER OFTEN, THE AGAPE LOVE FOR SHE SHARED WITH ALL; SHE EVEN WENT OUTSIDE OF HER CIRCLE TO BRING SOME INTO HER CIRCLE THAT I HAVE REJECTED, NO NOT MARY MARTHA.

I CAN ALMOST HEAR HER LAUGHING ABOUT JASMINE FUSSING AT HER ABOUT JOHN-JOHN AFTER SHE HAD GOTTEN ON JOHN-JOHN FOR SOMETHING OR ANOTHER. I ENJOYED HAVING A SENSE OF HUMOR WITH HER FOR LAUGHTER TRULY IS MEDICINE. SHE HAD A SENSE OF HUMOR I BELIEVE WE ALL ENJOYED, NO HOLDS BARRED SHE SAID LIKE IT WAS, LIKE IT OR DUMP IT!

ON WANTING SOMETHING SHE KNEW SHE COULDN’T HAVE: “HEY SOMEBODY, GIMME SOME CANDY”; “SISTER MIDDELTON, DON’T LISTEN TO THEM, GIVE ME SOME CANDY!” “LADONNA GIMME SOME WATER’”, :GARY, YOU CAN GIVE ME A LITTLE BIT OF WATER, I’M THIRSTY!”; “HEY SOMEBODY………!” ON CALLING ME IN THE WEE HRS. OF THE MORNING: “SISTER MIDDLETON, GARY AND LADONNA HIT ME”; “SISTER MIDDLETON WHAT YOU DOING?” (IF I DON’T SLEEP AIN’T NOBODY GONNA SLEEP!); IN COACHING AJ TO FIGHT: “AJ, HIT HIM IN THE FACE!”. A MORE SOMBER MOMENT: “LADONNA IS MY BEST FRIEND.” “I FEEL ALRIGHT.” ; IN A SPIRITUAL TEACHING MOMENT: “JESUS IS LOVE.”; ON FORNICATING/ADULTERY: “THAT’S JUST NASTY.”; IN A BORED MOMENT IN CHURCH: “JUST PREACH!”; “HEY LADONNA….” ALL WHILE RIDING THROUGH THE STORM………………………..LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL!

Time to Emerge--come out into view

My sister-friends (and others), welcome to Springtime. It is the twenty-second day of the third month in the year R&R(ReCover&ReStore). Today, the spirit of God reminded me that many beautiful things will Emerge , have emerged , from the fire. The end result of the fire will be an amazing truth that cannot be denied. The fiery trials...there are many, but to each his own. My fiery trial is not for you and yours is not for me. God has chosen us all for a unique and divine purpose. He must get a return on the investment He made in us. He invested so much love, talent, power, anointing in us...and His purpose for our lives must be, WILL be fulfilled. Through many dangers and Snares, through mountains high and valleys low, through increase and lack, God is determined that the best of me, the best of you will emerge . Our best self will come out of all of this "stuff of life". This journey is not without purpose. The fire has come, has gone and will come again....

Day TWO

Greetings my friends, today is the second day of the first month in the year of Fullness and Glory. So many incredible things happening, so many memories still fresh in our minds. Looking ahead with hope and looking back with appreciation and gratitude because "I survived", some things that happened in 2008 should have broken me, but, as Lady Brown shared,they just bent me a little. My quesiton is always.....What Glory shall come of this? and God says....when the Glory comes the trial will seem so small.....it can even stand in comparison.....so, today .....please be reminded,......Glory is coming, and then another trial, but this is the only way we can move and grow and complete our purpose....FROM GLORY TO GLORY....hang in there my sisters, You wil be so impressed when you see the finished product. Share your Journey with us...and help someone.....What is your Testimony for His Glory? What was your great trial of 2008.....Cause we have left all the mess behind as we cross...

So Blessed

My mind is just in a place of thanksgiving and gratitude. It is the eleventh day of the fifth month in the year R&R(ReCover&ReStore). Without question, I am blessed. My sister, my friend, take some time to day and just give thanks because you are blessed. Inhale, exhale, you are So blessed . Look around through eyes that can see, you are So blessed . Put one foot on the floor and walk, you are So blessed . Look at your children, your husband, wife, life and loves. You are So blessed . So blessed , that you can't allow anything or anyone to make you doubt that. So blessed , that you can walk on water, just like peter did. So blessed that you have endured the fiery furnace(s) like the three Hebrew men. So blessed you have seen the glory like Isaiah. So blessed you have felt his grace and mercy like Mary Magdeline. So blessed you have given birth to his seed, like Mary. So blessed , despite all the mess, don't you dare stress, God will take care of the rest....
