The First day of a new month....NOVEMBER....Thankful for the Journey
It is a place, a very speacial place to be...when you can relax and rest in the Lord. Knowing that all of His promises are true. Knowing that He knows the thoughts that He thinks towards you. Thoughts of peace and not evil...to give you an expected end. There is a peace that we seek during our journey here...a place that will protect us during the storm, keep us standing when the winds of life are blowing so strong, keep the water from overtaking us. I am thankful to God that He knows and He cares. I trust him and accept his Peace...based on the words in Phillipians 4:7. Above and beyond my own understanding, I have discovered that when I react in a spiritual manner, not yielding to the flesh, but following the instructions and directions of the spirit...I can remain in that place of peace.
It is to God that I give Glory for giving me the power through salvation to walk and abide in peace...above and beyond all else. Can you relate....should you have lost your temper when that person pushed you out of your comfort zone? Even if you lost it....your peace can be restored. Meditate on Phillipians 4, emphasizing verse 7-9. Let God bless you as you apply these principles to your daily life.
