GOOD THING

My sisters, friends and foes, today is a blessed day.  It is the eighteenth day of the eighth month in the year R&R(ReCover and ReStore).  I am so grateful for A GOOD THING.  Ringing in my spirit this morning was A GOOD THING.  Seeking clarification from the dictionary, good has many definitions, among them, morally excellent, virtuous, pious, favorable, pleasant, propitious, bountiful, and ample.  I will say, all of these will work for me.  What is thing?  It is what you cannot name, an essesnce of a presence, an idea, a state of being, your "thing" may not be my "thing" but whatever it is...it is GOOD if it comes from God.  It will not be withheld from us if we walk up right before the Lord.  You hear me?...NO GOOD THING will you miss, if you walk up rightly.  You determine if  A GOOD THING is coming into your life.  He who finds a wife...finds A GOOD THING and favor too!!  Every GOOD and perfect gift comes from the Lord.  Did you know, It is the Father's GOOD Pleasure to give you the Kingdom.  The Kingdom is what God desires for you.  That is a double, positive, adjective (is that a part of speech?).  Well, God wants us to experience GOOD and in case you did not know the Kingdom is righteousness, peace and Joy.  Don't let anyone convince  you, not even your own mind that you deserve anything less.  His Grace, His Blood and His Desire out trumps anything eles.  You are His GOOD THING, He wants to adorn you in the finest things in life, both naturally and spiritually.  I think we can discuss A GOOD THING the rest of the week.  There are so many references to it in scriptures...but for today, focus on this one.  God will give, without you begging, just for the asking, he will be your sun and a shield.  He will also provide you with grace and glory.  Wow, what an amazing word to focus on.  Meditate on this GOOD THING and keep on walking my sister, you have everything you need to pursue purpose.  You are His GOOD THING determine to make Him smile, give Him pleasure and as you do so, He will give you the desires of your heart. 

Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Yes, it is a great day. Today is the 28th day in the twelfth month in the year 2010. Three days remaining in this year. Today, I have found myself thankful as I recognize that I have a Watermark on my life. Water, it is powerful and life giving. In a dry and thirsty land...we need the living water. I have experienced drought during this year, low times and high tides... I remain grateful for the Watermark that is on my life. If you think about it in the physical, water is so powerful, it leaves traces where ever it has been. A Watermark is a line marking the level reached by a body of water. Maybe on river wall, a building, in the sand at the beach. Just as in the spiritual, when you have experienced the living water, you have a watermark .
