Jesus My Rock -- Words of a CERTAIN Woman

Today is the first day of the ninth month in the year R&R(ReCover&ReStore).  Still sharing the words and wisdom of  a CERTAIN Woman and the legacy she left.  Still remembering Mother Martha Stanley.  Four years ago on this day, my siblings and I were surrounded by friends and loved ones as we were preparing for Mom's Life Celebration.  We often spoke about Mom's love of music and songs.  She sang in the choir and each song she sang had pesonal meaning to her.   One of Mom's favorite songs was "Jesus My Rock".  Jesus My Rock...she would open her mouth and sing...way up, somewhere beyond saprano...I Call Him......... Jesus My RockWith out a doubt, Mom knew that Jesus was her Rock.  She had endured trials and tributlations in her lifetime because she knew to run to the Rock.  The song says, I know He won't deny me, He always walks beside me...I call Jesus My Rock!!!

We have had the pleasure and pain of watching Mom go through many afflictions.  Later, in the last decade of her life, she had kidney failure and she lost her sight, but in the midst of her pain and suffering, Mom still said, I call Jesus My Rock.  She took the hits and the hurts, she endured the hardships as a good soldier.  And we found out, she did not call ghost busters...she did not call the lady next door, she said I call Jesus My Rock.   He was her Rock of ages...her lilly of the valley, her bright and morning story.  The wheel in the middle of the wheel.  Mom knew who to call, when man failed, she called "The Rock".    A lesson for us...we learned to call Him too.  We learned to run to the rock when life's pressure shook us to our core.  We learned from Mom, to cast our cares upon him and leave them there.  Mom trusted her Rock, she stood tall on her Rock and today, we know she is resting on that Rock, waiting for that First Trumpet Sound.

Do you know who to call to calm your fears and dry your tears?  Listen to the words of our legend and Call Him for yourself.  He will answer everytime.

I CALL JESUS MY ROCK...a lesson of wisdom from the Words and Life of Mother Martha Stanley - A CERTAIN Woman.

Looking back over Turned pages....

As I turn to page 25, chapter 2012, I have taken a moment, just a moment to turn back and review some of the previous chapters.  I look back and am reminded of the miracles I have experienced.  I am reminded of the miracle that I am.  As I look back, just a few chapters, I see an amazing story of a woman kept, a soul saved, a heart committed to the lover there of.  As I look back, I see that on several occasions, I did not understand what was going on at the time of the actual writing, but now, I can see that everything is working together for good.  I read over places where the challenges seemed overwhelming and changes did not make sense, but as I read further, I saw the benefit of each and every trial.  I look back and review the pages of this book, the author is brilliant, the pieces did not seem to fit, but He brought them all together.  Just like a puzzle, I can now see every piece fitly joined together.  I did not notice then...

2017 - Epiphany & Authenticity

Part- 1, Page 6, Chapter 2017 - Embracing M.E. (My Eve-Olution)!  We have a brand new scene in 2017. Navigating through the various landscapes, habitations, atmospheric pressures have all revealed for me a clear view of my authentic self.  Looking in the mirror and actually seeing, speaking my truth and actually hearing it, in the most raw form and not offering apologies for that truth.  Arriving at this place required me to leave skin, blood and sweat as a sacrifice on the altar that resulted in a life altered, scene changed, re-arranged and now sustained. Today, there is gratitude, on this day, when the world recognizes and acknowledges the manifestation of my soul's lover, I too appreciate my own epiphany, when I discovered the incredible power within, I chose and will continue to choose, from this day forth to use it to the fullest.  I am now living in that free place, liberated and substantiated,  making every decision and reflecting on every area of this ...

Mark on you...

My friends, this is the day...the Lord's day,the fourth day in the twelfth month in the year 2010. You are on your mark? I hope so, did you know that there is a mark on you? The Bible tells us to mark the perfect man for the end of that man is peace, Proverbs 37:37. Just as children are born with marks, certain characteristics that sets them apart, so are we, both naturally and spiritually. Mark on you, God has placed that special imrint on you that sets you apart. Just has he has numbered the hairs on your head, he has a mark on you so that he can identify you from anyone else. You are so important to God that He marked you with his own blood, formed you in His image and likeness. When He looks at you, He wants to see His reflection. What Mark is on you? If you have not accepted the free gift of life through repentance, then the mark on you is not of God. But He is waiting to claim you as His own. Cain had a mark to keep him from being killed, though he deserved to die...
