Great Memories--Words of a CERTAIN Woman

Today,  four years ago today, we bid my Mom's physical body farewell.  Surrounded by friends, family and loved ones, we gave our final salute to our legend.  Today, on this seventh day of the ninth month in the year R&;R(ReCover&ReStore), I celebrate her life.  I salute her one more time, I arise and call her blessed.  The life of a CERTAIN woman who impacted the lives of so many.  A woman who loved the sound of music, who loved people, who loved to love.  One of her favorite songs was Since I met Jesus, a favorite scripture, Psalms 121- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills...  Today, as a memorial to Mom, I would love to hear some of your memories of Mom, Mother Stanley, A Certain Woman.  Post them on facebook or send an email....Thanks Mom for the Memories...and all the lessons!!!!

I TOO AM IN REMEMBRANCE OF MARY MARTHA, MY FRIEND, WE SHARED MANY THOUGHTS AND FOUND OUT ON MANY WE THOUGHT ALIKE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CAME TO OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR FUTURE. ANYWAY I THINK OF HER OFTEN, THE AGAPE LOVE FOR SHE SHARED WITH ALL; SHE EVEN WENT OUTSIDE OF HER CIRCLE TO BRING SOME INTO HER CIRCLE THAT I HAVE REJECTED, NO NOT MARY MARTHA.

I CAN ALMOST HEAR HER LAUGHING ABOUT JASMINE FUSSING AT HER ABOUT JOHN-JOHN AFTER SHE HAD GOTTEN ON JOHN-JOHN FOR SOMETHING OR ANOTHER. I ENJOYED HAVING A SENSE OF HUMOR WITH HER FOR LAUGHTER TRULY IS MEDICINE. SHE HAD A SENSE OF HUMOR I BELIEVE WE ALL ENJOYED, NO HOLDS BARRED SHE SAID LIKE IT WAS, LIKE IT OR DUMP IT!

ON WANTING SOMETHING SHE KNEW SHE COULDN’T HAVE: “HEY SOMEBODY, GIMME SOME CANDY”; “SISTER MIDDELTON, DON’T LISTEN TO THEM, GIVE ME SOME CANDY!” “LADONNA GIMME SOME WATER’”, :GARY, YOU CAN GIVE ME A LITTLE BIT OF WATER, I’M THIRSTY!”; “HEY SOMEBODY………!” ON CALLING ME IN THE WEE HRS. OF THE MORNING: “SISTER MIDDLETON, GARY AND LADONNA HIT ME”; “SISTER MIDDLETON WHAT YOU DOING?” (IF I DON’T SLEEP AIN’T NOBODY GONNA SLEEP!); IN COACHING AJ TO FIGHT: “AJ, HIT HIM IN THE FACE!”. A MORE SOMBER MOMENT: “LADONNA IS MY BEST FRIEND.” “I FEEL ALRIGHT.” ; IN A SPIRITUAL TEACHING MOMENT: “JESUS IS LOVE.”; ON FORNICATING/ADULTERY: “THAT’S JUST NASTY.”; IN A BORED MOMENT IN CHURCH: “JUST PREACH!”; “HEY LADONNA….” ALL WHILE RIDING THROUGH THE STORM………………………..LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL!

WOMAN ON FIRE

Greetings My Sisters, Blessed are you, WOMAN ON FIRE....it is the sixteenth day of the first month in the year of FULLNESS AND GLORY. If you haven't heard it yet, let me tell you my sister....you are HOT. You my sister, if you have been keeping up this week....you have been ignited, I'm sure. Or, you are at least "HOT". I know for sure that you are "A WOMAN ON FIRE". You are seeking excellence, you are passionate about your purpose, your family and getting to the place of FULLNESS and GLORY that God desires. You should take a moment to look at yourself in the mirror and confirm, that you are "A WOMAN ON FIRE", yes, you are HOT. Moving along, igniting others along the way. Though sometimes the flame may get a little dim, still, the heat is not extracted....FIRE is STILL Hot.... and even if you feel like the flame is out....remember if you have ashes.....They can be ignited again, just add a little KINDLING...and get stirred up again. My sister, friend, it is a beautiful day. It is the tenth day of the fifth month in the year R&R(reCover&ReStore). Today, I want you to be encouraged in the fact that you were made in the image of God.. you are a reflection of Him. You are the epitome of greatness and goodness, if you allow the relection to shine. You are more then your human mind can imagine. You are one of God's greatest creations. He brought you forth with a purpose in mind. Today sis, reflect on the goodness and mercy and grace of your father. Reflect on where you are and where you could be, where you deserve to be had it not been for the shed blood. The prioritized purpose of God to give you life, and a more abundant life. It is not time to regret...now is the time to reflect...react and run. Today is your salvation even closer than when you first believed. Reflections of the Sun, bring warmth to my face.
